Chris Tomlin’s Glory in the Highest Tour
So, I wasn’t able to get a photo pass for the David Crowder show, but luckily he has the same management company as Chris Tomlin, who was coming to the same venue just a couple of weeks later on his Christmas tour. When I was turned down for my Crowder pass, I went ahead and asked for a pass to the Tomlin show.
The day before the show, I get an email saying there will be a pass waiting on me at will call. I’d actually forgotten about it, so this was a nice surprise :-)
This wasn’t a typical two-opener-then-the-main-act show however. Chris came right out (along with the wonderful Christy Nockels and his band) and started the show right on time. Since it was a Christmas tour, the songs were a mix of both traditional and contemporary holiday songs, as well as his own popular worship songs.
In the middle of the show, Louie Giglio came out and spoke. I only shot the first few minutes then had to go make a phone call. You can only get so many shots of a speaker anyway, right? ;-)
Anyway, here are a few shots from the night…
